Defakes.com is a platform for Truth, Verification, and Forensic Analysis. Our mission is to provide tools to distinguish reality from AI manipulation.
To keep this platform safe, accurate, and trustworthy, we enforce strict rules. These apply to everyone—casual players, investigators, and creators.
We prohibit attempts to manipulate our technology, distort the truth, or weaponize our tools.
System Probing & Adversarial Attacks ("Red Teaming"): You may NOT use our AI models to "test" or refine deceptive deepfakes with the intent of bypassing detection. Accounts showing patterns of iterative uploading (uploading the same fake repeatedly to improve it) will be permanently banned.
Betting & Voting Manipulation: Using bots, scripts, click-farms, or coordinated groups ("brigading") to manipulate the outcome of a prediction pool, leaderboard, or consensus score is strictly prohibited.
Misinformation via Reports: You may not alter, Photoshop, forge, or misrepresent a Defakes "Evidence Report," "Truth Score," or "Blockchain Hash" to deceive others.
False Flagging: Deliberately tagging real content as "Fake" (or vice versa) in a coordinated attempt to harm the reputation of the subject.
We want to preserve the integrity of the blind voting process ("The Game").
No "Spoiler" Distribution: You may not post static screenshots or screen recordings of the Final Verdict (e.g., the big Red/Green result) on external platforms if it spoils the analysis for others.
Prohibited Editing: You may not crop out the Defakes.com Watermark or the Truth Score from any shared media.
Authorized Sharing: To share a case, you must use the "Share Challenge" Link. This ensures the recipient can vote blindly and see the forensic data for themselves.
We distinguish between Public Figures and Private Individuals.
Unauthorized Public Analysis: You may NOT upload media depicting private individuals (neighbors, co-workers, classmates) to the Public Feed without their explicit consent.
The Rule: If you do not have permission, you must use Private/Restricted Mode. Posting private disputes to the Public Feed constitutes harassment.
Doxxing: Sharing personal contact info (address, phone, email) alongside an analysis is banned.
Harassment: Using forensic analysis to humiliate, mock, or bully individuals (e.g., zooming in on body parts to mock appearance).
CSAM (Child Sexual Abuse Material): ZERO TOLERANCE. We report all content depicting sexual abuse of minors to the NCMEC and law enforcement. Do not upload this even for "analysis."
Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII): You may not upload intimate images of others without their consent for the purpose of entertainment or shaming.
We recognize that victims of deepfake pornography need tools to prove their innocence. You MAY upload suspected deepfake intimate imagery IF AND ONLY IF:
Public Feed: We do not allow gratuitous violence, gore, or torture in the Public Feed.
Evidence Mode Exception: Forensic analysis of graphic content (e.g., war crimes footage, police incidents) may be permitted in Private/Restricted Mode for investigative purposes, provided it is not promoted for shock value.
Gambling Promotion: You may not use the chat or comments to promote external casinos, sports betting sites, or illegal wagering services.
Trading Points for Cash: You may not buy or sell Defakes "Points" or "XP" on external black markets. Defakes Points have no cash value.
Illegal Goods: Promoting drugs, weapons, or illicit services.
